Sing Noel

A lot of people know me.

It’s what you get for growing up in a small town and then starting your own small business in that same town. People know me as the organist at church, or the piano teacher at Holy Name of Mary Catholic School, or that little girl that used to sing in the children’s choir (yep, they’ve known me that long).

What they may not know is that I’m also the accompanist of the Arnprior Community Choir.

The 60-member-choir, directed by choral conductor and vocal instructor Lisa Webber, is in it’s 24th season and performs throughout the local area and frequently works with young emerging soloists from the Ottawa Valley.

Accompanying the choir has given me a chance to play, collaborate and perform with other musicians. This is a nice change from being a solo pianist for so many years. With everything from spirituals to classical to folk and even a bit of jazz, this group of adults has enriched my musical career in so many ways!
